Songs from the Porch of Life @ Guyra

Songs  from the Porch of Life, is based upon the songwriters in the round format, a format which is enormously popular in the USA in places like Nashville. In simple terms it is two or three singer-songwriters on stage at once performing their original songs, as well as songs by other writers that influenced them in their writing. Basically it is two or three solo acts on stage at once, or as we like to say, three stools, three microphones, three singer-songwriters, three plus hours of songs, stories, banter and reflections on life. In-between songs we talk about music, songwriting and life in general.

What makes our show a little different is it is not genre specific, Geoff Paull and Pam Hata, the two principles of the show, are quite different in style. The third singer songwriter is chosen locally, specific to the region it is being played in. The show is totally unrehearsed and spontaneous.
