2024 Armidale Show

The Armidale & New England Show, formerly the Armidale & New England Pastoral, Agricultural and Horticultural Association, is the longest running community-organized event in Armidale, with the first Show being held in 1876. The annual Show is a great chance to celebrate our local community and showcase the diverse range of skills and talents of our district, from stud beef cattle and sheep, to jams, preserves and honey, woodwork, handicrafts and even home brewing! ATM facilities available, Tap’n’Go facilities available on all gates, BBQ and bar.

Friday, 1 March: 6.00pm – Grand Opening and Young Women announcement; 7.00pm – Rural Science Undergraduate Studies’ Young Farmers’ Challenge; 8.00pm – Aussie Freestyle Motocross Show; 9.00-10.30pm – music at the bar.

Saturday, 2 March: 4.00pm – Grand Parade; 5.30pm – Dachshund Dash – Young Guns; 5.40pm – Dachshund Dash – Middle Agers; 5.50pm – Dachshund Dash – retirees; 6.00pm – Dachshund Dash – Final Race; 6.20pm – 6-bar Showjumping; 7.00pm – Ute show Barrel Races; 8.00pm – Aussie Freestyle Motocross Motorbike Show; 8.30pm – Holysmoke’s Family Fireworks Display; 9.00pm – Demolition Derby.
