2025 Marian Barford Awards
This inter-generational concert celebrates the 50th anniversary of the New England Ensemble’s debut, honours NECOM’s current teacher, performers, and spotlights our young rising stars.
Robert Harris, founding violist of the New England Ensemble, will perform with current staff and students of the New England Conservatorium of Music. Robert will also present the 2025 Marian Barford Awards during the event. Do not miss this landmark celebration of fine music, heritage, and community!

G F Handel: Sonata in A major, HWV 396, Op. 5 No. 1; J C Bach: Quartet in C, Op. 19 No. 1; Johannes Brahms: Piano Quartet in G minor, Op. 25, 3rd movt; Russian Saxophone Quartet Cuba for Saxophone Quartet, arr. Paul Marshall; plus pieces by Ernst Bloch, Nick Russoniello, and the Dave Weckl Band.
