Cold Chisel is back to celebrate its 50th birthday in style. The band is marking a golden anniversary with a national tour, kicking off in Armidale where it was based back in 1974.

The Big Five-O will be a night like no other. This time the band is not touring to promote a new album, it is touring for the best possible reason…because we all love playing gigs together. The anniversary provides scope for a show that features all the classic songs with which Cold Chisel carved its unique place in Oz Rock history – Khe Sanh, Bow River, Flame Trees, You Got Nothing, I Want, When the War is Over, My Baby, Cheap Wine, All for You, Choir Girl, Last Wave of Summer, Saturday Night, Breakfast at Sweethearts, Forever Now and so many more.

Bus Timetable:

Passengers MUST arrive 10 mins prior to departure time to have tickets scanned before boarding the bus.

Please note that buses will only be picking up and dropping off at the designated areas and will not be able to stop elsewhere.

Buses will run continuously from 12.15pm to 3.30pm and then every 30 minutes from 3.30pm until 7.30pm from the locations below. Return trips from Petersons after the event will start at 9.00pm and run continuously until all passengers have departed.

• Armidale Showground – Pick up and drop off will be on Kennedy Street near the entry gate.
• Armidale Mall bus stop – Pick up and drop off will be on Faulkner Street at the bus bay.

Buses will run regularly from 12.15pm to 3.30pm from the locations below. The return trip from Petersons after the event will start at 10.00pm approximately and run continuously until all passengers have departed.

• Armidale Netball Courts – Pick up will be on Perrott Street opposite Bona Vista Road, drop off will be on Perrott Street opposite Lynches Road.
• Ben Venue School – Pick up will be on Rockvale Road, Ben Venue School side (just after school crossing).

Please note that all out-of-town buses will not leave Petersons winery after the event until after 10.30pm and no later than 11.00pm.

• Nemingha – 10.55am – Nemingha BP – New England Highway. Arrive at Petersons 12.15pm approximately.
• Moonbi – 11.05am – Chook (next to Moonbi Museum) – New England Highway. Arrive at Petersons 12.15pm.
• Bendemeer – 11.15am approximately – Bendemeer Tourist park – New England Highway. Arrive at Petersons 12.15pm.
• Walcha – 11.15am – Walcha Showground – Jamieson Street. Arrive at Petersons 12.15pm.
• Uralla – 11.45am – Uralla Council Chambers – Salisbury Street. Arrive at Petersons 12.15pm.
• Glen Innes – 11.00am – Glen Innes Visitor Information Centre – Church Street. Arrive at Petersons 12.15pm.
• Glencoe – 11.10am – National Heavy Vehicle Station Inspection Bay (TfNSW) – New England Highway. Arrive at Petersons 12.15pm.
• Guyra – 11.45am – Across from the Big Sheep – Malpas Street Guyra. Arrive at Petersons 12.15pm.
