2025 Annual Commemoration Day

The Armidale and District National Servicemen’s Association’s (Armidale Nashos) Annual Commemoration Day Service will begin with a church service at St Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Faulkner Street, at 9.30 am, followed by the Commemoration Service at the National Servicemen’s Monument in Central Park at 11.00 am.

This service honours the service and sacrifice of National Servicemen who were killed in action during World War I, World War II, and the Vietnam War, as well as those who passed away during their service or after completing their military obligations since 1911.

The event will include a wreath-laying ceremony and a Remembrance address by Gail Turnbull, a former Army Nurse and President of the Glen Innes RSL Sub-Branch.

More than 15 schools have been invited, along with families of deceased Nashos, ex-service and returned service groups, various community representatives, and local, state, and federal politicians.

The public is warmly invited to attend and pay tribute to those who served.
