“How Long Has This Been Going On?” @ the Playhouse

Along with drummer Cary Bennett, vocalist Sharny, pianist Steve, and double bassist Helen, will play an exciting arrangements of songs from the great American songbook, as well as some stunning originals from all three. The show will also feature some cappella vocals.

APRA Award winning, ABC recording artist Sharny Russell, pianist/vocalist, is becoming more familiar with Armidale audiences since moving here two years ago. She is known for her engaging stage presence and virtuosic scat ability.

Steve Russell is one of Australia’s finest jazz pianists, and has been musical director for the likes of John Farnham and Tom Burlinson, and played with some of the world’s greatest jazz musicians.

Helen Russell is the go-to double bassist for most national and international artists visiting Brisbane, and she also holds a respected place in the Queensland musical community as a musical director for stage productions.
