Imitations of Immortality

This event will feature three key themes; a musical Welcome to Country in the Anaiwan language titled Long Time Living Here, two French grand works in Saint Saens Piano Concerto in F major and Faure’s Requiem, and additionally works by Australian composers Nick Wales, Rachel Bruerville, and the Norwegian Ola Gjeilo. The two French works are key highlights of this concert, the first work (Saint Saens) featuring Deidre Rickards OAM as the soloist on piano, and the second (Faure) featuring Ziggy Harris and Sarah Adeney in a grand combination of orchestra and choir.
