Red Riding Hood
TIME: 4.00-5.30pm (Sunday only) and 7.30-9.00pm (Friday, Saturday).
An updated version of this ancient tale, but still with the same intent – to keep children safe. For both adults and children. The play contains strong ecological themes and runs for just over an hour.
There are some scary bits – lots of smoke, haze and loud noises but not enough to trouble most children (no strobe lighting). Written and Directed by Gordon Cope with original music and musical direction by Benjamin Thorn. Boasting a stellar cast of young people: Alma Kanety as Red, Nyla Chemane as the wolf and Ron Ziv doubling as a tree and the very troubled Amanda. There are also some fabulous adults: Penny Dalgeish as Granny, Nicola Dixon as Red’s mum and Kerry Moran as the Spirit of the Forest
