Rising Stars Concert

The program includes pieces by J S Bach, Tchaikovsky, Bartók and Dvořák, performed by alumni Madison Sim and David Tan (violins), Jonathan Bruhl (viola and voice), and Abigail Thompson (cello), accompanied by pianists Robert Manley, Euga Ruan, and Sheila Guymer. The 2024 prize winners of the Marian Barford award will be announced, and celebrations will continue with refreshments served after the concert on the upstairs balcony with the best views of town.

The concert will raise funds for the Marian Barford Award to support senior students at NECOM with their music studies in Years 11 and 12. The 2024 winners of the Marian Barford Award will be announced at the conclusion of the concert.
