Soundshed Music presents mid-north coast musician and storyteller, SNEZ, and Armidale local folk singer, Jhanna Allan, for an intimate night of storytelling and music.
Coming from a Macedonian working-class family, where stories about hardship, romance and work ethic have been passed down through generations, Snez subtly weaves these influences into her own stories and songs, featuring traditional Macedonian songs from her parents’ mother country. Featuring Bouzouki, acoustic guitar, Bodhran drum and vocals.
Jhana Allan is a progressive country folk singer and multi-instrumentalist who explores themes of darkness and light, loss and self-acceptance. Her original tunes range from slow moody ballads to up-beat foot-stomping country numbers. Jhana delivers raw, honest lyrics wrapped up in sunlit mandolin, fiddle, viola and piano, with driving rhythms and pure vocals
