TAS Rugby Carnival
This Carnival is the largest junior rugby carnival held, over two days, in Australia, attracting young rugby enthusiasts and their coaches, along with committed families and supporters from all over the country. The carnival caters for under 12 teams and a girls 7s Competition for 14s and 16s players.
In previous years, visitors have travelled from the Sunshine Coast in the north, the NSW Southern Highlands in the south and many coastal and inland centres in between. Armidale’s beautiful autumn colours provide the backdrop to the event, which utilizes The Armidale School’s outstanding ovals and facilities.
This is a wonderful opportunity for players to experience a regional tour playing five competitive games, pooled against teams of matching standards, from across Australia. Team members and supporters enjoy two days of rugby in the beautiful city of Armidale, located in the New England region of New South Wales. Armidale, Australia’s highest city is approximately five hours from both Brisbane and Sydney on the New England Highway.
