Thunderbolt’s Festival

Festivals are about celebration, the gathering of people to revel in history, heritage, fun, food, music and community. They seamlessly transform a known place into an exciting festival space. Now in its 25th year, a community event, Thunderbolt’s Festival 2024 promises a jam-packed program full of family entertainment, a fun day out in Uralla.

Theme: Loud Shirts and Hula Skirts

Bush poets’ breakfast @ Bowlo (cnr Queen and Hill Streets, Uralla); spectacular street parade; Hemlock’s Man-Trap Show; Helly Hoops; live music and markets; food stalls, car and bike show and other events; $2 activities for kids (rock climb wall, inflatable obstacle course, giant slide, giant jumping castle).

Night Events: DJ Electric Postman; Interactive neon hula hoops AND at dusk (7.30pm) the magical Lantern Parade (Hampden Park, Hill Street) by Uralla Arts will enchant you. An adventure not to be missed.
