
Wimble’s Wayzgoose @ NERAM

Wimbleʼs Wayzgoose is a celebration of printing and printmaking to commemorate Australian print history and industry pioneer Fredrick Thomas Wimble. The weekend is hosted by the Museum of Printing at the New England Regional Art Museum in Armidale.
Sunday, 4 May
10.00-11.00am – Packsaddle Lecture on Printing (the FT Wimble Lecture on Print and Printmaking is part of the annual Packsaddle Lecture Series sponsored by Packsaddle); 11.00am-12.30pm – Printmaking Experiences and Presentation in the Museum of Printing (the Black Gully Printmakers will demonstrate print techniques and offer hands on activities for visitors in the Museum of Printing); 12.30-1.30pm – Printer’s Picnic (enjoy the community picnic as local musicians perform in the Black Gully area at NERAM); 1.30-3.00pm – Large Community Block Print(witness the printing of a community large format print, an event not to be missed in the Packsaddle Studio).
