Events not to be missed include the Autumn Festival, Big Chill Festival, The Bach Festival, The New England Garden Festival, Armidale International Film Festival and Guyra Lamb and Potato Festival. Other great annual events include New England Sings, The Armidale Cup, Guyra Trout Festival, Armidale Youth Orchestra Garden Party, Vintage Truck, Machinery and Heavy Horse Show and the NEGS Equestrian events. Saturday, 21 September: Bib collection at Great Hops Brewery Sunday, 22 September: Start/Finish at Dumaresq Dam near Armidale, NSW. The dam is located approximately 12km west from the Armidale CBD. Follow Boorolong Road past the University of New England (UNE), turning right into Dumaresq Dam Road. Follow Dumaresq Dam Road for approximately 5km to the Dumaresq Dam picnic area. This is a community-themed weekend of stall holders showcasing and offering their treasures.
