Events not to be missed include the Autumn Festival, Big Chill Festival, The Bach Festival, The New England Garden Festival, Armidale International Film Festival and Guyra Lamb and Potato Festival. Other great annual events include New England Sings, The Armidale Cup, Guyra Trout Festival, Armidale Youth Orchestra Garden Party, Vintage Truck, Machinery and Heavy Horse Show and the NEGS Equestrian events. The calendar is full with premier sport events including the TAS Rugby Carnivals, Tour de Rocks and the 12hr Mountain Bike Enduro.

Come and be merry with our FREE Christmas-themed Family Funday Sunday! This fun-filled day kicks off the silly season with a FREE photobooth, FREE playground, FREE face painting as well as FREE gifts and lollies for the kiddies! Plus, plenty of games and Christmassy activities, including a Candy Cane Toss Competition and visit from Santa Claus himself!

Bring the family and a picnic blanket to enjoy a free Christmas event and movie for the community. There will be plenty of family-friendly activities, while Armidale local, Fergus Lupton, provides live music. There will be market stalls, food trucks, and so much more. From 8.00pm, the movie Home Alone, starring Macaulay Culkin, will screen.

Come one, come all to the Railway Ho-Ho-Hotel for our first ever Santa Fest, to help raise some much-needed funds for the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal. Be there with bells on as you rock your best Santa or Mrs Claus attire in a fully decked-out beer garden. There will be a live DJ from midday, photobooth and plenty of cheer!
5.00pm (food and fun), from 6.00pm (carols). Enjoy a night under the trees, celebrating Christmas and singing timeless carols.
