Events not to be missed include the Autumn Festival, Big Chill Festival, The Bach Festival, The New England Garden Festival, Armidale International Film Festival and Guyra Lamb and Potato Festival. Proceeds to Friends of McMaugh Gardens, Uralla's 36-bed aged care home. Preservation and restoration of the 135-year-old Uralla Court House commenced in December 2021, with funding from the NSW State and Australian Federal Governments. The restoration enhances Uralla’s impressive line-up of 19th and 20th Century architecture which is showcased along the town’s Heritage Walk and has created a new multi-functional space for community use.
