A Darkly Funny Performance with U3A's Armchair Theatre Group The New England Regional Art Museum is celebrating the Seniors Festival (funded by NSW Government). Join U3A’s Armchair Theatre Group in a creative performance of a pensioner’s untimely demise brought to life by the character’s parrot. Sit back and relax and help yourself to some popcorn to really set the scene.

Adults only Try your hand, with step-by-step assistance, to paint Buttercup Baby - textured acrylic painting on canvas. BYO drinks.

Assemble at the Uralla Showground, where the chicken auctions are being held. From 7.15pm head down King Street to the entrance of Hampden Park - the parade will continue around Hampden Park. Following the parade there will be live music from Thor Phillips and his band and food and drinks on sale.

Teens 16+ welcome if accompanied by family group Try your hand, with step-by-step assistance, to paint Blue Cockatoo - acrylic painting on canvas. Optional BYO drinks.

The Australian Army Band is a 15-piece show band, including vocalists, bagpipes, rhythm section and winds. For several numbers the Army Band will be joined by the New England Wind Ensemble (NEWE), Armidale Youth Winds (AYW) and students from local school concert bands.

East Egg hunt (11.30am), meet the Easter Bunny and get your photo with him in the photo booth, Basket of Arts craft sessions (from 12.00pm); enter the Easter Colouring-in Competition and win various vouchers for each category (1-5, 6-9 and 10-12 years) – runs from 1 March to Easter Sunday.

Dave Eddy Cyber Blues is an electric/electronic music project inspired by the first page of William Gibson’s Neuromancer, which depicts the Chatsubo Bar in Night City. Cyber Blues explores the world of livewire voodoo guitar and the Ghosts in the Machines. Dave Eddy is a versatile performer with years of experience, providing appropriate musical backing for a diverse range of events including  weddings, nightclubs, arts festival, theatre productions, school fundraisers, poetry performances and visualizations of world annihilation.

CORNFEST returns for its third year with something special. Four cities, six bands and some good corn fun! Get ready for a wild and unforgettable night at CORNFEST '24 where good corn and good times collide!

Pancake breakfast with the Armidale City Band This major fundraiser has been running for more than 40 years and is an Autumn Festival institution. Take in the classic sounds of the brass band while Armidale Dumaresq Lions Club, Quota Club of Armidale together with the Country Women's Association cook up a wonderful pancake breakfast.

The Campus to City Canter is a 5km fun run starting from SportUNE Consett Davis sporting fields then following the cycleway into the city and finishing at Civic Park. It is an annual event held in conjunction with SportUNE as part of the Armidale Autumn Festival.
