Events not to be missed include the Autumn Festival, Big Chill Festival, The Bach Festival, The New England Garden Festival, Armidale International Film Festival and Guyra Lamb and Potato Festival. Other great annual events include New England Sings, The Armidale Cup, Guyra Trout Festival, Armidale Youth Orchestra Garden Party, Vintage Truck, Machinery and Heavy Horse Show and the NEGS Equestrian events. The calendar is full with premier sport events including the TAS Rugby Carnivals, Tour de Rocks and the 12hr Mountain Bike Enduro.

Join Sydney Youth Orchestras and 300 of NSW's finest young orchestral musicians at a showcase concert. The concert features the Sydney Youth Orchestras’ Richard Gill Chamber Orchestra (RGCO), Western Sydney Youth Orchestra (WSYO), Peter Seymour Orchestra (PSO), Symphonic Wind Orchestra (SWO) and 80 regional guest musicians for an exciting showcase concert. Led by John Ockwell, Kate Morgan, Aija Draguns, Tyler Wilkinson, James Pensini; the musicians will be performing a range of classical bangers ranging Mozart, Sibelius and Tchaikovsky.

Rohan de Korte & Friends Charismatic Melbourne Symphony Orchestra cellist and pedagogue, Rohan de Korte, performs with outstanding local musicians Caleb Murray, Sofia Debus and Disa Smart. They are joined by rising Heart Strings Academy star students Andrew Clark, Jay Gates and Rebecca Sung playing solo and ensemble works by Bach, Dvořák, Ravel, Bloch, Kodály and more.
