Come on a magical journey through Australia’s native forests to understand the sophistication and complex artistry of the lyrebird, leading humanity to a deeper understanding of the natural world.

Come and enjoy jazz at one of Armidale's grooviest venues. Organismics features the amazing artistry of Warwick Dunham on organ, Steve Thorneycroft on guitar and Cary Bennett on drums, who together reboot some of the classic soul jazz, R&B, funk and LA lounge grooves of the 1960s and 70s for a marvellous night of music. Free under 18. Teri Young writes songs of social commentary and love. She is a singer, guitarist, choir leader and bushdance caller. She has released three albums and won many awards including the prestigious Alistair Hulett award for songwriting at the National Folk Festival.

Acclaimed guitarists Slava and Leonard Grigoryan have created a suite of music inspired by objects personally selected from the National Museum of Australia’s vast collection tracing Australia’s diverse and complex history. Incorporating all their influences from classical to jazz and contemporary music, performed on a variety of guitars (electric, 8 string tenor ukulele, 12 string and classical), audiences will see and hear the Grigoryan Brothers like never before.

Neil Murray will be touring in 2023 on the release of his new album, “The Telling” . A concert of song inspired by the composer Piazzolla and the influences of the tango and the music of Spain. The concert will be performed by soprano Ayse Göknur Shanal, accompanied by pianist Benjamin Martin. Armidale audiences will remember Göknur as Mimi in Opera New England's production of La Bohème.

Tell Tale Hearts features Vince Redal (guitars/vocals), Steve Jackson (guitars/vocals), Mick Houlihan (bass/vocals) and Steve Harris (drums/assorted rhythmic shapes). With both original and new songs, Tell Tale Hearts renovates the power in pop, realigns the alt in rock, and rewires the blues in groove, to give listeners a night of wide-skied sound and deep-valleyed song.
