Events not to be missed include the Autumn Festival, Big Chill Festival, The Bach Festival, The New England Garden Festival, Armidale International Film Festival and Guyra Lamb and Potato Festival. Other great annual events include New England Sings, The Armidale Cup, Guyra Trout Festival, Armidale Youth Orchestra Garden Party, Vintage Truck, Machinery and Heavy Horse Show and the NEGS Equestrian events. The calendar is full with premier sport events including the TAS Rugby Carnivals, Tour de Rocks and the 12hr Mountain Bike Enduro.

Assemble at the Uralla Showground, where the chicken auctions are being held. From 7.15pm head down King Street to the entrance of Hampden Park - the parade will continue around Hampden Park. Following the parade there will be live music from Thor Phillips and his band and food and drinks on sale.

The Australian Army Band is a 15-piece show band, including vocalists, bagpipes, rhythm section and winds. For several numbers the Army Band will be joined by the New England Wind Ensemble (NEWE), Armidale Youth Winds (AYW) and students from local school concert bands.

Dave Eddy Cyber Blues is an electric/electronic music project inspired by the first page of William Gibson’s Neuromancer, which depicts the Chatsubo Bar in Night City. Cyber Blues explores the world of livewire voodoo guitar and the Ghosts in the Machines. Dave Eddy is a versatile performer with years of experience, providing appropriate musical backing for a diverse range of events including weddings, nightclubs, arts festival, theatre productions, school fundraisers, poetry performances and visualizations of world annihilation.

Pancake breakfast with the Armidale City Band This major fundraiser has been running for more than 40 years and is an Autumn Festival institution. Take in the classic sounds of the brass band while Armidale Dumaresq Lions Club, Quota Club of Armidale together with the Country Women's Association cook up a wonderful pancake breakfast.
