Armidale's favourite Christmas celebration! Festivities will commence with Santa and his Elves making a special appearance at the festive fun event. Beardy Street Mall will be transformed into a street of market stalls, food vans, live entertainment and kids activities. This year we have a special surprise.... Santa is bringing his real live Reindeer!!!!!    

3UP is a new jazz trio featuring Bellingen musicians, Christ Frater on saxophones and Bruce Stephen on double bass, and local drummer Cary Bennett. They bring their unique take on jazz grooves and styling, as well as some quirky original com[positions, to Armidale for a night of contemporary jazz. The exciting interaction between these three master musicians is something not to be missed.wel

Come and meet Santa, presents for kids, lighting the Christmas Tree, Christmas Carols and music, market and food stalls, BBQ.

Directions: from airport roundabout, exit to Armidale, travel down the hill and turn right into Galloway Street, take fourth right into Perrott Street (becomes Kellys Plains Road), continue 4.1km and turn left to "Kamarra"). Devonshire teas, lunches, plant and book stalls, raffle - all proceeds to Australian Garden History Society Heritage Rose Garden at Saumarez Homestead.

Lena Schmalz and Eloise ford (her student in organ) are developing the concept of an Organ Scholar at the Uniting Church. Supporting Eloise (organ) will be Nickie Murcell (recorders), Fiona McDonald (baroque flute, recorder), and Lena Schmalz (organ, piano, recorder), performing music by J S Bach, M Praetorius, J L Krebs, C A Campioni and C Franck.
