Armidale Choral Society Concert
The Armidale School Memorial Hall 87 Douglas Street, ARMIDALE, NSW, AustraliaThe Choral Society will be performing Haydn - The Creation with the Armidale Symphony Orchestra.
No matter what time of year you visit, chances are there will be an event or festival in or around Armidale.
Events not to be missed include the Autumn Festival, Big Chill Festival, The Bach Festival, The New England Garden Festival, Armidale International Film Festival and Guyra Lamb and Potato Festival. The calendar is full with premier sport events including the TAS Rugby Carnivals, Tour de Rocks and the 12hr Mountain Bike Enduro.

8.00am departure from Visitor Information Centre, 82 Marsh Street. Bring food (morning tea and lunch), water, binoculars, sunscreen and hat, and wear stout shoes, bring a picnic chair as many bush spots do not have facilities. The scheduled visit may be changed or cancelled if conditions on the day are likely to affect the excursion.
All welcome! Sausage sizzle and party games. BYO drinks and a plate of goodies to share. Please bring cash for raffles. Parents please provide present for children.

The global recorder community eagerly anticipates this Festival. Six extraordinary days of immersive musical experience awaits. Hosted by Orpheus Music (a boutique specialist recorder hub),the upcoming festival promises a rich blend of technique classes, ensemble work, special interest topics, and concerts. Featuring renowned international, national and local tutors who will showcase, teach and guide and caters to musicians of all levels. A highlight will be the Australasian Recorder Competition - showcasing players from around Australasia. Not to be missed.

One of the most beloved community events on the calendar is making a triumphant return to Armidale, with Newcastle Permanent’s Cinema Under the Stars bringing a jam-packed evening of family-friendly fun. The free event includes live music, free popcorn, children’s activities and roving acts, with the feature film, Wonka (PG, 2023), to begin at sundown. Local food vendors will be in attendance. Pet and alcohol free event.
The National Committee, has great pleasure in announcing that Armidale, will be hosting the 2025 National Rally. The main location for the Rally will be at the Armidale Showground - a bar will be operating every night, camping will be available. The Road Safety Forum, the Extended National Committee Meeting and the Annual General Meeting will be held at the Armidale Bowling Club. The Armidale Autumn Festival is a showcase of Armidale local talent and of course the magnificent autumnal colour. Local organisations will showcase their talent via a street parade, including pipe bands, school musicals, school bands, New England Conservatorium of Music, aboriginal dancers, UNE colleges, highland dancers and more. There will be food trucks to tempt the fussiest eaters, and entertainment throughout the afternoon. Come on down and celebrate the Armidale community spirit at the Armidale Autumn Festival.

The Classic and Specialist Car Club of Northern NSW is based in Armidale and has undertaken the task of hosting this Rally. The rally is only open to cars built before 1931. Previously held in the Central West area of NSW, this is the first time that it has ventured out of that area and is capped at 150 cars.
