The Armidale Youth Orchestras invite the community to its annual concert. Featuring groups from the AYO. These include a full orchestra, string percussion/wind and brass ensembles, plus guest musicians from the Armidale music community – this is a great and inexpensive opportunity to introduce children to the absolute joy of music-making with friends and to celebrate the talented young musicians of our region. Recommended for ages 0 to 100!

Another blast from the past night! This time it is all about the 90s. Dust off that denim jacket, don your bucket hats and chockers - get your grunge on and get to the Grand. 1st prize $100 cash; 2nd $50 Grand voucher; 2rd $25 Grand voucher. Prize for best dressed team, best dressed individual and best 90s-themed team name. Register from 6.00pm. All teams that book ahead will get a reward.

8.00am departure from Visitor Information Centre, 82 Marsh Street. Bring food (morning tea and lunch), water, binoculars, sunscreen and hat, and wear stout shoes, bring a picnic chair as many bush spots do not have facilities. The scheduled visit may be changed or cancelled if conditions on the day are likely to affect the excursion.

Come along to see hundreds of keen Rugby players from six to twelve years representing clubs across the region. Grab a bacon and egg brekky roll, a steak sandwich or some other home-baked goodies. Rugby Gala Days bring together a great community from the coast out to Moree and down to Scone, and the Armidale Gala Day culminates the 2024 season.
