Events not to be missed include the Autumn Festival, Big Chill Festival, The Bach Festival, The New England Garden Festival, Armidale International Film Festival and Guyra Lamb and Potato Festival. Other great annual events include New England Sings, The Armidale Cup, Guyra Trout Festival, Armidale Youth Orchestra Garden Party, Vintage Truck, Machinery and Heavy Horse Show and the NEGS Equestrian events. The calendar is full with premier sport events including the TAS Rugby Carnivals, Tour de Rocks and the 12hr Mountain Bike Enduro.

These trials are set to be a highly anticipated event bringing together over 200 competitors. Come and enjoy a celebration of Eventing equestrian excellence in dressage, show-jumping and cross country.

With topics changing each gathering, Skeptics in the Pub is an informal social event designed to promote fellowship and social networking. Topics will range broadly across subjects such as health, medicine, science, technology, history, politics, the social sciences and the arts – all while set in a friendly, fun and casual atmosphere. No bookings required.
Among highlights will be a live Nativity play, featuring local children (and farm animals) in the old stables behind newly renovated Bolt Inn. Performances are at 5.00 and 5:30pm. Next door, at Little Birdy Uralla, step into Santa’s Toy Workshop, where you can make your own wooden toys with the Uralla Community Neighbourhood Centre. Bring the family and a picnic blanket to enjoy a free Christmas event and movie for the community. There will be plenty of family-friendly activities, while Armidale local, Fergus Lupton, provides live music. There will be market stalls, food trucks, and so much more. From 8.00pm, the movie Home Alone, starring Macaulay Culkin, will screen.
