No matter what time of year you visit, chances are there will be an event or festival in or around Armidale.

Events not to be missed include the Autumn Festival, Big Chill Festival, The Bach Festival, The New England Garden Festival, Armidale International Film Festival and Guyra Lamb and Potato Festival. Other great annual events include New England Sings, The Armidale Cup, Guyra Trout Festival, Armidale Youth Orchestra Garden Party, Vintage Truck, Machinery and Heavy Horse Show and the NEGS Equestrian events. The calendar is full with premier sport events including the TAS Rugby Carnivals, Tour de Rocks and the 12hr Mountain Bike Enduro.

Market Sunday Concert

Tea and sausages available from 11.30am. Music of Archie Todd The music this Market Sunday Concert features young Armidale singer/songwriter Archie Todd. Archie has a growing reputation as singer/songwriter of attractive and occasionally whimsical songs and ballads. This is a great opportunity to hear one of Armidale’s emerging creative stars. Event Series NSW Field State Hockey Championships

NSW Field State Hockey Championships

This event, run over three days, will see about 25 teams from regional hockey associations competing for the title of State champions, and many players will be vying for selection into the NSW Over 50, 55, 60, 65 and  Over 70 State teams to play in the national Masters Hockey Championships in Perth in October.
