The annual Armidale Campdraft is a three-day event with riders travelling from around the countryside to compete at this hotly contested event. Spectators will have the chance to see some of Australia's best riders in action as they compete in the 2024 competition. A Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony will start the day. This will be followed by the Australia Day Awards Ceremony where some of Armidale’s hidden treasures will be honoured and recognized for their community work. Australia Day Ambassador is Michael Crossland, humanitarian and internationally known best-selling author. Cultural performances will take place from 12.00pm, followed by a lunch to celebrate all our fabulous citizens and local volunteers. Everyone is welcome! Reflect. Respect. Celebrate.
