      The annual Quota Christmas Market is on in Walcha. Browse the great variety of stalls in preparation for Christmas, along with all retail offerings in Walcha. Enjoy a wonderful shopping experience. Also on Saturday is Walcha Parkrun and the Walcha "Olympic" Pool is now open for the season. In support of Walcha Youth Group and local projects.

8.00am departure from Visitor Information Centre, 82 Marsh Street. Bring food (morning tea and lunch), water, binoculars, sunscreen and hat, and wear stout shoes, bring a picnic chair as many bush spots do not have facilities. Grand Opening Mass, followed by a Celebration Carnival in the Cathedral grounds.

Come and hear one of Australia's best School Orchestras in a concert of blazing orchestral colour. The full-sized orchestra will perform works by Brahms, Hermann & Rodrigo, Australian compositions and plenty of classical favourites along the way. A labyrinth is a single path leading from the external to the internal. It can be used for reflection and many other community purposes. Time to reflect on the events of 2024, and pause to imagine, dream, and hope for 2025, and share your insights and intentions with others in order to move forward into the New Year with ease and grace, and hold each other gently as paths unfold over the year and into the future.
