The first night of the Guyra Trout Fest begins with a fun night for all the family with the Big Hairy Bush Dance Band. Learn to dance with a bush dance caller to walk you through the dances.- in advance. There will be food and beverages available.
End the Lamb & Potato with BANGON Bush Dance with the Big Hairy Bush Dance Band. We had such fun last time that we have invited them back for the Lamb and Potato Festival.....The Big Hairy Bush Dance Band gets everyone up and come with a caller to walk you through all the dances so you don't even need to know how to dance. There will be food and beverages available.

Sections for poetry performances are: traditional, modern, original humorous and original serious. Come along and listen to our fabulously talented bush poets.
The Film Festival is an event entirely devoted to the celebration and showcasing of bush poetry film. Poetry film or video poetry is a fast-growing art form that combines poetry, moving images, sound and music. An invitation is extended to film makers and poets of any age and background to participate in the inaugural Festival. In particular, the submission of innovative and eclectic takes on bush poetry film as a distinct media form is encouraged.
