No matter what time of year you visit, chances are there will be an event or festival in or around Armidale.

Events not to be missed include the Autumn Festival, Big Chill Festival, The Bach Festival, The New England Garden Festival, Armidale International Film Festival and Guyra Lamb and Potato Festival. Other great annual events include New England Sings, The Armidale Cup, Guyra Trout Festival, Armidale Youth Orchestra Garden Party, Vintage Truck, Machinery and Heavy Horse Show and the NEGS Equestrian events. The calendar is full with premier sport events including the TAS Rugby Carnivals, Tour de Rocks and the 12hr Mountain Bike Enduro.

Guyra Show Long Lunch

Guyra Showground 27 Marne Street, GUYRA, Australia

VENUE: Stud Show Ring Marquee, Showgrounds, 27 Marne Street, Guyra. TIME: 12.00pm for seating by 12.30pm. $88pp - includes lunch and complimentary glass of champagne (tickets available until Thursday, 10 February through "Gala", phone 02 6779 2132 or admin@gala.org.au). Celebrate the 114th Annual Show and support the show society. Enjoy a gourmet lunch prepared by "Relish Catering" with drinks available for purchase from local favourites including "Toppers Mountain" and Glengowrie Gin Distillery.

Guyra Australia Day Dinner & Awards

Guyra Bowling and Recreation Club 192 Bradley Street, GUYRA, NSW, Australia

Come and enjoy a two-course meal to celebrate Australia Day and the Australia Day award winners for 2024. Tickets are available from the New England Community College (GALA) (136 Bradley Street, Guyra) and need to be pre-purchased - no sales on night.
