No matter what time of year you visit, chances are there will be an event or festival in or around Armidale.

Events not to be missed include the Autumn Festival, Big Chill Festival, The Bach Festival, The New England Garden Festival, Armidale International Film Festival and Guyra Lamb and Potato Festival. Other great annual events include New England Sings, The Armidale Cup, Guyra Trout Festival, Armidale Youth Orchestra Garden Party, Vintage Truck, Machinery and Heavy Horse Show and the NEGS Equestrian events. The calendar is full with premier sport events including the TAS Rugby Carnivals, Tour de Rocks and the 12hr Mountain Bike Enduro.

Over 50s Cricket Carnival 

Various ARMIDALE, NSW, Australia

VENUES: Armidale Sports Ground (58 Dumaresq Street) and Rologas Playing Fields (Taylor Street). Teams from Coffs Harbour, Tamworth, New England and Macquarie (Dubbo) will battle it out over a 2-day carnival. This mini carnival is the first two rounds of our inter town Doug Walters Cup Competition – part of NSW Veterans Cricket. – BBQ for purchase at the Sportsground after the game on Saturday. Over 70s NSW Veterans State Championships

Various ARMIDALE, NSW, Australia

VENUES: Armidale Sports Ground (58 Dumaresq Street), Bellevue Oval (University of New England, Meredith Street), Recreation Ground (Park Avenue, Guyra), Lambert Park (108 Butler Street), Harris Park (144-150 Kirkwood Street) and Rologas Playing Fields (Taylor Street). This year Armidale is hosting the NSW Veterans Cricket Over 70s State Championships. Twelve 12 teams from across NSW attending will be attending. Games will be played on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
