Be guided through the intact, furnished two-storey mansion which is a time capsule of family life, largely untouched since the Edwardian era. Saumarez Homestead features a wonderful collection relating to family pastoral life from the 1870s to the 1970s..

Directions: from airport roundabout, exit to Armidale, travel down the hill and turn right into Galloway Street, take fourth right into Perrott Street (becomes Kellys Plains Road), continue 4.1km and turn left to "Kamarra"). Devonshire teas, lunches, plant and book stalls, raffle - all proceeds to Australian Garden History Society Heritage Rose Garden at Saumarez Homestead.
