Phillip Gearing and Austral Harmony perform Fantasias by Bach, Buxtehude and Krebs featuring the capricious stylus phantasticus on the mellow-toned Willis organ. Archie has a growing reputation as singer/songwriter of attractive and occasionally whimsical songs and ballads. This is a great opportunity to hear one of Armidale’s emerging creative stars. While there are no Covid restrictions please do practice social distancing.

Lena Schmalz and Eloise ford (her student in organ) are developing the concept of an Organ Scholar at the Uniting Church. Supporting Eloise (organ) will be Nickie Murcell (recorders), Fiona McDonald (baroque flute, recorder), and Lena Schmalz (organ, piano, recorder), performing music by J S Bach, M Praetorius, J L Krebs, C A Campioni and C Franck.

The music this Market Sunday Concert will feature Australian guitar music performed by Stephen Tafra.  Stephen Tafra is one of Armidale’s leading musicians, well known for his performances with EphenStephen, Tri and other groups, and as a soloist. This is a great opportunity to hear him explore some Australian repertoire.  Entry to the concert is free, though donations are encouraged.  While no restrictions apply the audience is encouraged  to use Covid-safe practices and social distancing.
