This year’s Christmas events promise to be bigger and better than ever, with a wide range of activities, entertainment, and holiday cheer. The magic of Christmas will be brought to life with Santa Clause, reindeers, kid’s activities, and stage performances to celebrate the festive season. All aboard the Jolly Express! Get ready to experience the magic of Christmas in the most enchanting way with a very special guest this holiday season - Thomas the Tank Engine train.

With assistance from local businesses and sponsorship from the New England Writers' Centre this Festival will include workshops during the week. There will be stalls, food and music and a Book Week Parade - for everybody!

Celebrate Youth Week at the Markets in the Mall. On stage will be Archie Todd. Archie, a 17-year-old musician, guitarist, and singer/songwriter. He loves music and hopes it will be part of his life forever. He writes indie/folk music and is very excited to be performing for you.

Armidale's favourite Christmas celebration! Festivities will commence with Santa and his Elves making a special appearance at the festive fun event. Beardy Street Mall will be transformed into a street of market stalls, food vans, live entertainment and kids activities. This year we have a special surprise.... The Armidale Autumn Festival is a showcase of Armidale local talent and of course the magnificent autumnal colour.
